1) Keyword in URL
This is the best for your website but you can also put keyword in sub domain. Do you know if your domain is "www.helloworld.com/insurance.php" then your Adsense will show the insurance ads even your title, keyword and description are "game". So, you should think of this first and should not use .info domain.
2) Keyword in
The title should have 7 words as maximum and the most important keyword should be in left.
3) Density of keywords
Density of keywords should be around 3-7%. If you have too much of them then SEO will consider your website as spam.
4) Keywords in headline
Keywords in H1 tag is useful too. Make sure you use some of them.
5) Keywords in images
You can also put keywords in image by rename your image's name to keywords and so does Alt tag. You may also get traffic from searching images.
6) Keywords in description
Keywords in description will help you to be top of Google but attractive description will bring you a good traffic. If you can do both that's great.
7) Less outgoing links
If you have to have outbound links, make sure it's not too much. They will decrease your PR.
8) Choose the right web hosting
Good web hosting is effective to bots. If your web host is slow then bots can not work with full stream like you are surfing website with PC-486 and 16k modem. What will you feel?
9) Unique contents
I'm sure that unique contents is the best for SEO. Try to update them as much as possible. Frequency of updating will make a good effective for your website. By the way, all of them should be legal contents.
10) Avoid to use iFrame
I'd like to say "Do not use it" if it's not really important. Make your own content is the best.
